Out of all the DVDs Skillet has done this is by far the best. Very artistic and great camera angles. Ideal for those who have not gotten a chance to see this band live in concert as it's a nice treat with a fair representation of their live performance. If you have seen the band you, like me, might find yourself being picky with certain aspects of the concert (as they say, it's always better to be at the concert). Even with this great live recording, go see the band live and in person when you get ... Read More

Before I start this review I would like to point out 2 FACTS about myself. #1 I LOVE rock music. #2 I am a moderate fan of Skillet. I own Collide and Comatose and very much like the songs featured on Comatose Comes Alive. The ALBUM VERSIONS. I would also like to point out how sad I am at the lack of quality in some Christian music today, and peoples fear of writing a bad review. If the album sucks, say that it sucks. In regards to my opinion about Skillet. I do like them, however, I think that Skillet ... Read More

For many of us, this CD/DVD combo is the 1st time we get to hear the newest line-up of Skillet. At the begining of 2008 Lori Peters left Skillet, and handed her sticks over to Jen Ledger who had recently turned 18 when she took over. In my opions Jen had a difficult task to accomplish in being Lori's replacement. I must tell you, Jen has done a wonderful job, she is up to the task, very impressive!
Ben added a solo to 'My Obession', this version is great. John's growl in the begining of 'Whisper's ... Read More

Skillet is one of the best Christian rock band success stories of the past decade in my opinion. From the self-titled debut album in 1996 until now, the band has continued to redefine itself into the superstar rock band that released one of this decade's best-selling Christian rock albums, Comatose. For me, the combination of strings, keyboard, guitar, drums and John Cooper's emotional vocals with his wife Korey's background vocals was meant to be heard and experienced live. Since I haven't actually had that privilege, ... Read More

This was definitely worth the price. A cd and full length concert DVD. Some people have complained about the editing but it's not bad, just a little overwhelming at times. Skillet brings raw energy to their performance and thy are fun to watch. They aren't heavy on preaching but their lyrics are awesome in any case.
