Editorial Review:
Album Description: O.A.R. has come to stand for authentic Rock music that reflects the collective triumphs and tragedies we all experience is this world: Real people making real music that resounds deeply with their fans. The songs on this album showcase every facet of the band and it's musical tastes which led to calling the album 'All Sides'. The radio friendly first single, 'Shattered', produced by Matt Wallace (Maroon 5), with additional production by Rob Cavallo (Green Day) lands at radio Mid June as the band kicks off their three month long 'All Sides' Summer Tour.

I'm old school....I still buy whole albums because I'll hear one song on the radio or somewhere. And most times, I'll find a song better than the one I bought the whole album for. This CD no exception. Some good hooks on some of the songs. Sure, a couple of duds but in general a very good disc.

Yup, like every other band out there, OAR's sound is evolving. Same as "In Between Now and Then" had a very different sound from "Souls Aflame", this one has a very different sound from either. What's unmistakably OAR, however, is the band's writing. Anybody who was dissapointed that "Stories of a Stranger" included so few OAR originals is going to LOVE this one. Thirteen OAR songs, all brand new!
I'm listening to this one, start to finish without skipping over anything, over and over....and ... Read More

What we have here is the last new from OAR.
Many people consider this a to commerial album with too many radio friendly songs.
There is indeed a little less reggae and jam but through the songs you hear what they made in the past.
They have grown and i realy like this album, i rate it a 8 because of the quality songs and the great production.

Just found this group off of XM radio and bought their CD from Amazon since I couldn't find it in stores anywhere. I really enjoy the CD and the group.

I think the band's sound has definitely matured, as well as their writing. They are probably tired of playing the same (amazing) songs after 10 years. "War Song" and "What is Mine" are, in my opion, firmly in the top 5 of their best songs to date. If you liked "Living in the End" from Live at Madison Square, you will love this cd. Much more mellow than their early songs, but the build up in the songs is just rediculously good. Each song finishes different than you'd expect from a studio album, if that makes ... Read More
