I have been a fruity loops user for over 5 years and each iteration gets more impressive and more powerful. As far as a software compay, the previous reviewer was grossly incorrect. I purchased the downloadable version back in the 2003/2004 timeframe with FREE UPDATES for life. I stopped recording music for a few years and recently started up again. I bought this software and sent it to my grandson in Virginia. My grandson is unable to activate it, even though he has registered it repeatedly, and even tried changing the password, to no avail. I even drove up to Virginia to try to help him activate it. The problem is not with the distributor, but with the manufacturer.
