Ok, so I heard the hype surrounding this product and did not believe it - really thought people were crazy to pay that price for mascara - marketing wore me down and I'm so glad it did - I have long thin lashes that are blonde on the tips. I also am plagued by oily eyelids while the rest of my facial skin is dry - mascara, eye liner, even shadows tend to run, smudge, or migrate to other areas, it's a curse!

This is supposedly Sephora's best selling mascara but I didn't find it to work all that well. It went on smoothly but didn't make my lashes especially full or long and I had black polka dots on my upper & lower lids within an hour of applying it. So disappointed! I will continue my quest for the perfect mascara!

I bought this hoping it would be clump-free and waterproof. It did go on nicely (albeit with a super-fattie brush.) But I always had the racoon eyes thing by the end of the day. I try to rub it off under my eyes with my finger, pulling my skin...NOW it wants to be waterproof! This mascara definitely does what they say it does. I have short thin lashes that are nearly non-existent, but with this mascara it adds great length and volume without clumping. For someone who doesn't use an eyelash curler, this mascara does a pretty good job of curling my stick straight lashes.

I tried the Dior Diorshow mascara on the strength of many recommendations. I bought the waterproof kind and that may have been my mistake. I'm curious to know if the non-waterproof kind is better.

I have several issues with the mascara. First off, the applicator brush is enormous. I feel silly saying that, but seriously, it's huge.
