Jack Lemmon may very well be my favorite comedic actor ever. Walter Matthau, which annoying at times, has always been a good screen partner for Lemmon. With that thought in mind I became intrigued at the idea of Lemmon directing Matthau. The story is sweet and the acting is great. The whole family will be able to watch this movie. It is an older movie so don't look for wonders in carmera working or scenery that makes you swoon.

The family of Kotch wants to put him in a retirement home but he doesn't think that is what he wants. He meets a young abandoned yound lady that makes him feel needed. They develop a father/daughter type relationship.
